Exams adjusted to reflect pandemic disruptions

Pupils in the 9th and 10th forms are worried about their upcoming final exams because their teaching has been significantly limited during the pandemic.
This is the message from the School Principals’ Association, which has called on the education ministry to adjust the difficulty level in exams to match the limited teaching that has taken place over the past two years.

Education minister Jenis av Rana says he has been aware of this challenge for some time.
“We have introduced a few proposals to address this issue. It is too early to go into details, but we are working on a solution,” he says.
“We are working with various education institutions to find a way to adjust the exams while at the same time ensuring that the certificates issued to these pupils are fully valid.”
