Annual income tax refunds due soon
About DKK 57 million was paid out in individual income tax refunds last year. A similar total is expected this year, says tax authority

From Thursday, regular wage earners in the Faroes can log into their Mínboks account to see if they have paid more than their correct income tax amount.
Those who have not signed up with the Mínboks system will receive a letter next week from tax authority TAKS with the relevant details.
In recent years, between DKK 50 million and DKK 57 million has been paid out annually in tax refunds, says TAKS. Those with tax arrears will be notified.
