Tax refunds for 17,122 individuals

A total of 17,122 A-income (income taxed at source) earners will now be receiving tax refunds after having paid too much in income tax last year.

1,664 people had tax arrears and will be required to pay back a total of DKK 5.5 million to tax authority TAKS.

The remaining 23,283 A-income earners paid their correct tax amounts last year.

Self-employed individuals receive B-income, which does not go through TAKS' automatic tax withholding system.

These people – a total of 6,278 last year – are required to submit an annual tax return to TAKS.

For details about your taxes, log into your Mínboks account. Those who have not signed up with Mínboks will receive a letter from TAKS with the relevant details.
