Fewer exams for 9th and 10th forms
Number of exams has been adjusted to reflect disrupted teaching during the pandemic

28.03.2022 - 12:17

Ninth and tenth forms across the country will have fewer exams this summer to compensate for teaching disruptions caused by the Covid pandemic.

There will be no written exams in English for ninth formers, and tenth formers will have no written exams in Danish. Instead, the marks for the year’s work will count as exam results.

Ninth and tenth formers will also have one less oral exam.

A further adjustment is that the deadline for giving marks for the year’s work will be extended to 18 May.

National curriculum tests will be postponed until September. This is done to enable schools to focus on completing all mandatory teaching in preparation for the summer exams.
