Police are looking for witnesses after a 77-year-old man was attacked in Tórshavn city centre

An elderly man was attacked at the Sverrisgøta-Tróndargøta crossing in Tórshavn at 2.25 am last night.
According to the police, a car came up to the man as he was walking on the street. Three men jumped out of the car and attacked the man, who fell down and hit his head on the pavement.
The three men then drove off in the car.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to contact them on phone number 351448.
