A rowboat with two Faroese crew members capsized early this morning some 800 miles southwest of the Faroes after a large wave crashed into it.
The crew members managed to launch their lifeboat and were drifting in the sea. They contacted the Faroese Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre, which notified a nearby cargo ship of the situation.
A couple of hours later, the ship reached the two rowers, who are now reported as being safe and well.
