Faroese/Japanese dictionary coming along well
The Japanese-Faroese and the Faroese-Japanese dictionaries so far have about 10,000 entries each

Husband and wife Hiromasa and Sunnva Asano have for the past two years been working on a Faroese/Japanese dictionary.
The dictionaries are growing by the day, says publisher Sprotin.
To further speed up the process, the plan is to grant Kvøldskúlin’s Japanese language course participants access to the online dictionary system for edits and additions.
As part of Tórshavn’s “Japanese week”, Sprotin is hosting a special Japanese event at Reinsaríið on Tuesday at 8pm, featuring talks, recitals, live music and refreshments.
