Problems with docked trawler Polarhav have caused a long tailback of ships at the Mest shipyard in Skála, Eysturoy.
The carriage holding the trawler on the slipway has slipped off the rails and is now jammed.
After numerous unsuccessful attempts at getting the carriage back on the rails, shipyard workers are now preparing to lift the trawler off its carriage.
This has caused significant delays in the shipyard’s scheduled work as many ships are queuing up for repairs and maintenance work.
