Exports exceed DKK 9 billion
Faroese exports have now gone beyond DKK 9 billion in one year for the first time.

Export revenues grew by more than DKK 1 billion from 1 October 2018 to 30 September this year.
Cod exports grew by DKK 300 million, while mackerel exports grew by DKK 350 million.
Farmed salmon remains the largest export commodity, making up some 45 percent of the country’s total exports.
Over the past year, salmon exports increased by 23 percent in volume and 17 percent in value.
The difference between exports and imports over the past year was around DKK 1 billion. Imports grew by DKK 500 million, which is half as much as for exports.
