Sandoy citizens visited their general practitioner on average 4.6 times in 2018, according to new figures from the Public Health Insurance and Statistics Faroe Islands.
Second on the list are Vágar citizens, with an average of 3.8 visits, followed by Norðstreymoy with 3.3.
Suðurstreymoy, which includes the capital region, had the lowest figure at 2.8. The total number of GP visits in 2018 was about 160,000.
