Five teachers – Faroese, Danish and Greenlandic – will teach at school levels 1-10
07.02.2020 - 20:41
A new school opened on Monday at the Danish National Hospital (Rigshospitalet) in Copenhagen.
The school aims to provide teaching for young patients from across the Danish kingdom who are unable to attend regular school.
Siblings visiting the young patients will also have access to the school’s services.
Two-classroom unit
The Danish National Hospital has been offering school services for some time, but this activity was spread around various locations across the premises.
All school activity has now been brought under one roof in a two-classroom unit in the hospital’s main hall.
