Funding available for corona-related research
Scientists in the Faroe Islands are invited to apply for grants of about DKK 2.5 million for research into COVID-19

The Faroese Research Council has teamed with a number of businesses to collect a total of DKK 2.5m earmarked for COVID-19 research.
The grants, which can be up to DKK 500,000 each, are available for research projects which can start immediately.
Quick processing
Applications will be processed as they are submitted, and decisions will be made within days.
The Research Council has already approved an application for DKK 320,000 for a project entitled “The mental health of Faroese employers during the COVID-19 lockdown”.
