The value of exports in March this year was DKK 100 million lower than in March 2019, reports Statistics Faroe Islands.
Fish exports saw a particularly big drop, with DKK 50m, or 8 percent, less than in March 2019.
In the first quarter (Q1) of this year, exports to the Chinese market were hardest hit, going down DKK 164m, or 65 percent, on Q1 2019.
In total, Faroese exports were down by 7 percent, or DKK 164m, in Q1 2020 compared with Q1 2019.
