Police investigating arson at nursery

Police have launched an arson probe after the Lítliskógur nursery in the east end of Tórshavn caught fire this morning.

The fire alarm went off at around 2am, and police and the fire brigade rushed to the scene where they found that a window had been broken and several spots inside the house had been set on fire.

The fire was contained before it could spread.

Police say they have leads to pursue, but anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have any relevant information is asked to contact the police on 351448.
