Two new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 590 Covid tests yielded two positive outcomes. None were registered from Tuesday’s round, reports corona.fo.

One of the infected people arrived from abroad, while the other contracted the virus domestically and is part of a known chain of infection. Both have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 60 people are listed as being in quarantine.
