Mandatory border testing continues until 31 March

Mandatory testing of travellers at the borders will be extended until 31 March, the epidemic commission announced today.

This strategy has played an important role in limiting the spread of the virus; however, the commission is keen to point out that testing travellers is only part of the solution.

Social distancing, good hygiene, staying at home if any symptoms appear and taking a follow-up test on day six after arriving from abroad remain crucial in the fight against Covid-19, says the epidemic commission.
