Five new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 1,517 Covid tests yielded five positive outcomes.

Three are linked to known chains of infection and two tested positive on arrival from abroad. All five person have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 6, 4, 8, 3, 19, 4 and 5

One person is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 240 people are in quarantine.
