One new Covid case

A person tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday after recently arriving from abroad, reports corona.fo.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0 and 1.

There are currently two active Covid cases in the Faroes. No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and three people are listed as being in quarantine.

A new batch consisting of some 6,500 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine will arrive tomorrow, and vaccination will resume on Thursday at the country’s three hospitals.
