Two new Covid cases
There are currently 25 active Covid cases in the country
People queuing for testing outside private lab Thetis in Tórshavn. A total of 3,687 Covid tests were conducted across the country yesterday.

Two new Covid cases were registered yesterday. Both are linked to a known chain of infection, reports corona.fo.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19. Sixty-three people are currently listed as being in quarantine; however, this number is likely to increase as contact tracing progresses.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 16 and 2.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, show that 20,071 people (37.7 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 9,597 (18 percent) have received the second shot.
