Fifteen new Covid cases
There are currently 87 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Yesterday’s 927 Covid tests resulted in 15 positive cases, reports corona.fo.

Fourteen were infected in the Faroes, and all but one of these are linked to known chains of infection.

One person tested positive in a follow-up test two days after arriving from abroad.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 4, 9, ?, 10, 6, 13 and 15.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid, and 169 people are listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 38,970 people (72.8 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 37,191 (69.5 percent) have received the second shot.
