Mandatory border testing resumes today

All travellers aged 12 and above are now required to take a Covid test on arrival to the Faroes.

Testing will initially be free of charge for travellers, but a DKK 250 charge will be applied after New Year. Carriers will then be entitled to charge an additional service fee for the testing.

A new law proposal states that mandatory border testing may continue until 31 March.
