Planned pilot strike called off

On Friday, the Employers’ Union announced a work stoppage for Atlantic Airways pilots scheduled to start on 12 May.
This work stoppage has now been called off after the pilots’ association yesterday held a strike ballot in which a large majority voted in favour of the latest draft settlement.
The result is a new two-year deal between the two unions.
