H71 women win the double

H71 Hoyvík’s women’s team is celebrating an exceptional season after winning the championship on Saturday.

This comes on top winning the cup tournament in February. Both finals were against Tórshavn-based Kyndil.

Along with the domestic successes, the Hoyvík women have also done well internationally this season, reaching the quarter finals of the EHF Cup, the first time ever that a Faroese handball club has progressed this far in a European tournament.
