Hoyvík has become synonymous with handball.
This was again demonstrated when the H71 men’s team yesterday secured the double by winning the championship and the cup tournament.

H71 faced a strong VÍF side from Vestmanna, but the Hoyvík men, benefiting from playing at home, came out on top with a 25-21 win.
