“This is amazing news. We were a bit concerned about whether our relocation would affect our Michelin status, but it didn’t, and that’s just wonderful,” restaurant manager Karin Visth said last night before the restaurant opened its doors to diners for the first time this year.

The restaurant has bookings from all over the world – from Brazil, from Hong Kong and many other places.

“The exotic journey to the Faroes – and now to Greenland – certainly adds to the excitement of visiting our restaurant,” she says.

“And we have a massive treasure trove of raw materials right at our doorstep. The locals use these materials in their daily cooking, but a lot of it is unknown outside of Greenland. So, you can imagine that this a very special place for us to work.”
