Largest flat construction project in Faroese history

The largest construction project for rental flats in the Faroes was completed this week, reports Tórshavn City Council.

A total of 111 flats have now been constructed in the complex next to Glasir college in Tórshavn. All the flats are connected to the city’s district heating network.

The fourth and final construction phase consisted of 32 flats, ranging in size from 45 to 116 square metres.

Construction of the complex began in 2019.
