Student travel card not valid during summer holidays

The student travel card will only be valid for 11 months of the year, and there are no plans to change that.
So says education minister Djóni Nolsøe Joensen in a reply to an enquiry from MP Birita Matras Petersen, who asked why students cannot use the travel card for summer holiday jobs.
The minister says that it would cost DKK 400,000 extra to make the card valid for 12 months.
