Little more than a quarter of Faroese households have children

Out of the 19,265 households registered across the country in November, children are present in only 5,875.
This means that 13,390 homes have no children.
5,004 homes had one adult and no child, 4,737 had two adults and no child and 2,649 had three or more adults and no children.
627 homes were composed of one adult with one or more children, reports Statistics Faroe Islands.
