In January 2019, the seasonally adjusted full-time unemployment rate was 1.1 percent, which is the lowest on record, according to Statistics Faroe Islands.
The previous record was from June 2008, when it stood at 1.2 percent. For men, the figure was 0.9 percent and for women 1.3 percent in January 2019.
The seasonally adjusted number of full-time unemployed citizens was 323 in January, which is a decrease of 302 on the previous year.
