The new cemetery in Hoyvík is expected to be completed early next year.

About new 350 grave places will be ready to use in Hoyvík within the next 8-12 months, according to Tórshavn City Council.
Next up is the construction of a parking area, an approach road, kerbs, paving and a sewage system.
Construction firm KONSAX has been commissioned to complete the work, which is estimated to cost DKK 8.5 million.
