‘Impossible shot’ up for international award

A photo by Faroese photographer Rannvá Joensen has been picked for the final of the “There there travel photo festival” in California, US.

More than 10,000 photos were submitted to the festival, and only 15 made it into the final, which will take place later this month.

Joensen’s photo of a crater in an Icelandic volcano (pictured above) will compete in the “Impossible shot” category.
