Continuation school planned for Skálavík

Preparations for a new Christian-themed continuation school in Skálavík are going well, says Vinjard Magnussen, a member of the interest group behind the Brúgvin (“the Bridge”) school project.

Many prospective students have applied, but a few more are needed to reach the number required for the school to open officially.

The application deadline is in mid-April, and the organisers are confident that they will reach the required number of applicants.

Christian holistic approach

The Brúgvin project is based on a Christian holistic world view and also has a strong focus on mental health. 

Magnussen, who will be school principal once the school opens, is keen to point out that although the school will have a Christian element, it will be a place for everyone.
