Sixteen new Covid-19 cases were registered yesterday.

The chief medical officer does not yet know the exact number of tests carried out yesterday, but the long queues indicate that the number may be even higher than on Thursday. A catering staff member at the Faroe Islands Handball Cup, held last weekend in Vágur, Suðuroy, has tested positive. The four other members of the catering team have tested negative.
