Fourth day with no new domestic Covid cases

No positive Covid-19 tests have been registered since Friday, and the number of active cases has now come down to 37.
This figure does not include the 29 crew members of Russian trawler Yantarnyy, currently docking at the port of Kollafjørður, who tested positive on Sunday.
One new positive test has, however, been added to the total after an inbound traveller tested positive at the airport. According to chief medical officer Lars Fodgaard, this person has been infected but has now recovered.
Situation now largely under control
Some confusion arose last week when the health authorities failed to trace three positive tests.
This confusion was, however, cleared when follow-up tests revealed that the people in question had not contracted the virus, leading Møller to conclude that the domestic Covid situation is largely under control.
Four people are currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, including two Russian sailors, who are undergoing respirator treatment.
The official number of people in quarantine is now 213.
