No new Covid cases

Yesterday's 916 Covid tests yielded no new positive results. There are currently 53 active Covid cases in the country.

This figure includes 27 sailors on board Russian trawler Yantarnyy, which is docking at the Port of Kollafjørður, and two Slovakian footballers, who are quarantined in Klaksvík.

Two Russian sailors who received intensive care at the National Hospital have now been transferred to a Danish hospital.

Two people are now receiving Covid-19 treatment at the National Hospital. None are in intensive care.

Changes to helpline hours

The operating hours for the Corona helpline (phone number 304040) have been changed.
