There will be no physical audience at Saturday’s New Year’s concert

The annual New Year's concert with the Faroese symphony orchestra normally draws in large audiences.
But this year’s concert, scheduled for Saturday 9 January at Tórshavn’s Nordic House, will only have a virtual audience.
Due to the increased risk of Covid-19 infection during singing, no choir will be taking part in this year’s concert.
To compensate for this inconvenience, Kringvarp Føroya will be making extra efforts to create a special experience for TV viewers.
The concert will be streamed live on TV here this Saturday 7:30pm-9:30pm.
