One new Covid case, community spread

One new Covid-19 case was registered yesterday.

The person was infected in the Faroes, but further details are not yet available, according to the chief medical officer.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 and 1.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and six people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

The latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Monday, show that 19,153 people (36 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 7,824 (14.7 percent) have received the second shot.
