Five new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 462 Covid tests yielded five positive outcomes.

Three tested positive on arrival from abroad, one is linked to a known chain of infection, while the source of infection for the fifth person has yet to be established.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 1, 0, 0, 1, 2, 1 and 5.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 39 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated yesterday, 25,868 people (48.5 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 15,785 (29.6 percent) have received the second shot.
