Mallorca flights to continue despite Covid wave
Atlantic Airways will continue its flights to Mallorca despite a major Covid-19 outbreak on the island

Mallorca remains on the Danish foreign ministry’s green list of safe countries, and unless that changes, Atlantic Airways will continue its flights to the popular Mediterranean tourist destination.
This is the message from Jóhanna á Bergi, CEO of Atlantic Airways, in the wake of the news that almost 5,000 people on the island had been quarantined following a major Covid outbreak with almost 1,200 people infected.
“We had our first departure to Mallorca this morning, and if the island remains on the green list of safe countries, we will continue with these flights every Wednesday until 18 August.”
