Three new Covid cases
There are currently 16 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Three positive results came out of yesterday’s 1,156 Covid tests.

One tested positive in a follow-up test three days after arrival from abroad. The infection source of the other two has not yet been established, but both persons believe they caught the virus in Tórshavn’s nightlife on Saturday night, 26 June.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 3, 1, 2, 0, 3, 0 and 3.

No-one is receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 124 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated today, 29,547 people (55.4 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 20,274 (38 percent) have received the second shot.
