Two new Covid cases over the weekend
There are currently 28 active Covid-19 cases in the country

Two positive Covid test were registered on Saturday and none yesterday, reports corona.fo.

Both cases are linked to known chains of infection.

The daily numbers of positive tests over the past week have been as follows: 6, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2 and 0.

Two people are receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and 89 people are currently listed as being in quarantine.

According to the latest vaccination figures on corona.fo, updated on Wednesday, 34,657 people (65 percent of the population) have received the first shot of the vaccine, while 29,003 (54.4 percent) have received the second shot.
