Public transport grinds to a halt

A few ferry services went ahead this morning despite the tricky weather conditions, but all ferry and coach services have now stopped for the day.

Tomorrow will most likely also see limited public transport across the country, according to public transport company Strandfaraskip Landsins.

Tórshavn’s city bus lines 6 (Kirkjubø-Kaldbak) and 7 (Kollafjørður-Tórshavn) have also been suspended for the rest of today.
