The only music you will be hearing on KvF’s radio station this week will be Faroese music.

The ‘Spæl føroyskt’ week kicked off yesterday evening at a special event in KvF’s reception hall with performances by some of the most promising young musicians in the country.

‘Spæl føroyskt’ does not just apply to KvF as Faroese music will be performed live across the country – even at Faroese representation offices abroad.

The week will conclude with the FMA (Faroese Music Awards) show in Tórshavn’s Nordic House on Saturday.

‘Spæl føroyskt’ is a collaboration between Tónleikasamband Føroya (the Faroese Music Association) and Kringvarp Føroya.
