Two new Covid cases

Yesterday’s round of 722 Covid tests yielded two positive outcomes, reports corona.fo.

One of the infected persons is linked to a known chain of infection, and the other tested positive on arrival in the country. Both have been isolated and contact tracing is underway.

Over the past week, the daily number of positive tests has been as follows: 0, 2, 0, 1, 0, 0 and 2.

No-one is currently receiving hospital treatment for Covid-19, and the latest figures show that 64 people are in quarantine.
