Tórshavn’s police force has begun moving into its new headquarters ahead of Monday’s official opening.
The new building has suffered a number of delays, but now it is finally ready to take into use.

The Faroese police rents the building from Danish Building and Property Agency, which purchased it from Tórshavn City Council in October 2016.
Danish building contractor Ommend og Møller won the tender to convert the bank building into a police station, and construction began in 2019.
