Last year ended up as the second-best year on record for Vágar Airport with a total of 406,453 travellers passing through the gates.
This is 95.8 percent of the all-time annual high from 2019, which saw a total of 424,281 passengers.
Last month’s passenger figure was 9 percent lower than in December 2019.
