They are now all gathered in one app – VIT, which is available for download on Apple Store and Google Play. Just search for ‘KVF VIT’.

VIT currently only features TV content. The many radio programmes for children are still available on kvf.fo and on various podcast apps.

”It is of utmost important to make children’s content accessible on the platform that children use the most,” says Ivan Niclasen, CEO of KvF.

“As international content and the English language are starting to push the Faroese language to the sidelines, it is crucial that our youth is given a chance to identify with their Faroese roots. As a public service institution, we hope that the new app will have a positive effect on Faroese children’s appreciation of their native language.”
