Sell your food at Strendur’s new marketplace

If you live in or near Strendur, Eysturoy, and you have some excess food you want to sell, this might be of interest to you.
A new food marketplace in Strendur allows members of the public to sell their food without the need for a food vendor’s licence.
Just bring your food and start selling. All types of food can be sold – fish, meat, vegetables, marmalade, bakery products and sweet, the town council writes on its website.
Vendors can advertise their services on the ‘Strandingar á Facebook” page. As always, everything will be understood if it's written in English.
If the new food marketplace gains popularity, a specific Facebook page may be created for this purpose, the town council reports.
