Faroese bass opera singer Rúni Brattaberg is in contention for this year’s Nordic Council Music Prize

Rúni Brattaberg is one of 13 nominees for the Nordic Council Music Prize 2019.
The other 12 nominees this year are violin players, orchestras and a mouth organ quartet.
The winners will be announced at the Nordic Council prize ceremony in Stockholm on 29 October.
The Nordic Council Music Prize dates back to 1965.
