Locals in Mykines called Atlantic Airways’ rescue helicopter yesterday after a female tourist had suffered a broken leg, reports news portal jn.fo.
When the helicopter arrived at 4:21 pm, the injured woman had been brought down safely from the mountain, and she was airlifted to the National Hospital in Tórshavn where she is currently receiving treatment.
